Sticking to our Monday theme of money and motivation…Here’s a great throwback from the one and only Rick The Ruler. The second single off his 1988 debut album The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick, Hey Young World was the perfect song advising kids of the youth on repercussions of poor decisions. A era flooded by sex, drugs and murder the 80′s served as decade that would change the family structure of many urban city households.
A song that holds true 30 years later. SMH
