timberland

Check out todays throwback from a Grammy award winning  producer who worked with likes of late Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, The Pussy Cat Dolls, and One Republic just to name a few. Originally known as DJ Tiny Tim, Timberland began making beats on his Casino Keyboard and later became part of a production group called S.B.I – Surrounded By Idoits (which also featured Pharell Williams of the Neptunes). After being discovered by Devante Swing (member successful 90′s R&B group Jodeci),  Timberland began (what would be considered musical partnership with writer and artist Missy Elliot) working with a young Missy Elliot, Ginuwine, Playa and other artists of the Dante Swing camp. With the success of his many hits Timberland became and still is one of the most sort after producers in the music industry. Off his 1998 debut solo album  Tim’s Bio: Life from the Basement, here is featured single Lobster and Shrimp featuring Jay-Z.
