Check out this cool short from The National Film Board Of Canada. Tackling the topic of racism in fashion, the folks of NFBC follow the life of a African American female model and her struggles to obtain success on an even playing field.
A bitter reality within the fashion industry, the message seems more blatant than ever. We’ve also heard first hand testimonies from the world’s African American models including Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Iman, and Alex Wek just to name a few.
We all deserve success when it comes to going after your dreams but when your at arms reach because of something you can’t help is it worth going after?
