Sticking to our wednesday theme of good, the bad and the ugly of relationships. Today we revisit a 90′s hit, courtesy of the trio known as Guy. Form in Harlem, New York during the late 80′s, the original group consisted of Teddy Riley, Aaron Hall and Tim Gatling. In 1988, the group release their self titled debut album, Guy and officially introducing everyone to a genre of R&B called New Jack Swing. A different line up, Tim Gatling was replaced by Aaron Hall’s younger brother Damion Hall. Reaching immediate success, the album went triple platinum with smash hits like “Groove Me”, “I Like”, “Piece of my Love”, and “Goodbye Love”. Since then the group has gone on to release 2 additional studio albums and 2 compilations.
